Oh my goodness, what a beautiful place! The view out the back balcony is breathtaking. Been traveling for 2 1/2 weeks from California through the south and up the east coast. This has been the BEST room we have gotten since we left! Thank you so much for all the care you take in your beautiful place. I can see they take pride in cleaning, making you comfortable and keeping the price affordable. LOVE IT! Will recommend to all.
Our car broke down in the neighbourhood of Ridgemont Motel and having stayed there 40 years ago, we sought it out again. The manager was super-friendly. We had a room on the backside that went out onto a wraparound porch with tables and chairs, and looked over an expansive grass field.We could hear minimal road noise. The windows also opened to let the fresh air in. The room itself was clean, although dated. The bed was comfy. There was mini fridge with a real freezer, as well as a coffee maker and a microwave. It was an easy walk to Dairy Queen or other restaurants. The price was right, and we had a relaxing stay. We would consider staying again if in the area.
I stayed at the Ridgemont for 12 days during a visit to my hometown. The rates are very reasonable, the room very clean and comfortable, and, as I traveled alone, I felt very safe. Lin was very attentive to any needs I had. I'm hoping to make another visit in the spring of 2024 and this will be my #1 choice for my stay. Thank you Lin for your hospitality and I'm looking forward to staying with you again.
We just got back from our 1st trip to the Little League World Series with our grandson and his best friend. Our stay at the Ridgemont was everything and more than we expected! The location with the baseball stadiums and the Little League Museum right out our door was fantastic!! The room was comfortable and fine for two grandparents and two young boys! The only issues we had were one small air conditioner malfunction and the water pressure in the shower was extremely low. The owner/manager was extremely nice and quick to respond to these incidents and did the best she could to remedy these. Thanks again Lin!! Oh, and the room rate was fine and was far far cheaper than those we looked at around the Williamsport area. If you are looking for the absolute most convenient location to stay for the Little League World Series, and aren't too fussy or expecting 5 star accommodations, this quaint little motel is perfect. We are planning on making this an annual trip with our grandson and family and will be contacting Lin again for our stay! Thanks Again Lin!!
Great price for what you get. The rooms are clean and have a private terrace. Everything was functional. Nothing fancy, no breakfast or any crazy frills but that’s okay.
We stayed here for our trip to the LLWS, as the Motel is in the perfect location to walk to the fields. The room was spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable! A perfect, quiet setting to relax. Furthermore, Lin was an outstanding host, and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as it was. I loved this place! I picked it as a halfway point on my way to upstate New York, and it was the perfect choice. It was SO CLEAN and Lin greeted me when I arrived at 9 pm and was so warm and welcoming. I felt very safe and my room was cozy and adorable. The balconies are so nice (though it was too cold to sit outside when I was there). This reminded me of some of the nice motels and hostels on the Appalachian Trail--very friendly and charming and clean. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely stay again!
